WEST CLEAR CREEK REUNION HIKES

On May 23-26, 2007, most of us got together for a 35th Anniversary Reunion Hike of upper West Clear Creek canyon. See the West Clear Creek Roadless Area report. This was the first time that some of us had seen each other for many years. We revisited a petroglyph wall and I was able to match photos from our June 9-11, 1972, visit. On May 14-16, 2008, we got together for the 36th Anniversary Reunion Hike. For the 2008 event we needed to work around the time constraints a few of us had and spent a half day at Tonto Bridge State Park. One of us went back to Phoenix and the other flew back to Chicago. The rest continued on to West Clear Creek.
